Installation Office 2016 / 365 pre-checks
Steps to be taken care during the Installation Office of Microsoft Office.
Note: If you have a trail version of Office 2013 or Office 2016 or Office 365 program Installation Office on your Computer by the Manufacturer then you don’t need to uninstall it before installing the Licensed version.
If you get any error code like 0-2 or 12152-4 close the error window and try to open any Office program (WORD, EXCEL or POWERPOINT).If Office program opens without any error then the License will be activated immediately and then close and re-open the Office program.If the Office program is damaged/corrupted, you have to either Repair or Uninstall or Re-install Office program depending on the error codes.
The error code is displayed when you have any previous installation of same Office version on the computer.
This issue can happen if you have clicked on the Install option twice due to fast mouse clicks on a setup.
This issue can happen if the setup file is blocked by any Robust Security Program, proxy/unsecured network issues or incorrect bit version (32 or 64) on the Windows Operating system.
If you have any trial version and trying to activate a new Licensed version, if it stops by displaying some error code, then you don’t have to worry because the Office program is already activated. All you have to do is open the program once and you can see the message.
Unblock the Setup file – Right click on the setup file then click on Properties and click on Unblock.
