Background Installation ran into a problem

When you try to open or during installation office program, it may show you the following error message Background Installation -ran-into-a-problem

Cause:

This error (“Background Installation ran into a problem”) raises when your application is unable to communicate with the Microsoft Office Server, or There might be an issue with system or registry settings or configuration files.

Step: 1 Check Explores Settings:

  1. Press Windows Key + R. Run Dialogue Box will open up.
  2. Type CMD and Press OK.
  3. In command Prompt type sfc /scannow
  4. The system will take some time to check. If it finds any issues in “operating system” integrity it will automatically fix it.

Step: 4 Office Add-ins are some third party programs which may stop you from opening any office program and that may show you the error which we discussed so far background-installation-ran-into-a-problem
